PSF Certified Professional Speaker®
The PSF Certified Professional Speaker® designation is slowly (remember the tortise and the hare?) becoming recognized as the preferred choice for many speaking professionals when it comes to authentic certification programming, professionalism and value.

Programming:
Our programming helps professional speakers save time and money. Because all our programs focus on the 3 Core Competencies of Professional Speaking our members don’t waste time with training programs that offer little value. Our speakers want the best training and don’t have time to waste. Because our Board of Directors are all professional speakers themselves they know the difference between quality learning vs. status quo guidelines that have become outdated and obsolete. Our programming is timely, innovative and offers a sense of immediacy no other programs offer.

Professionalism:
Our marketing and promotion resources, made available through our monthly continued education programs, have raised the bar in the speaking industry to new heights! If there is a newer, more effective, and more efficient marketing tool that can help our members they’ll find it first with the Professional Speakers Federation®.

Value:
Our membership dues are very affordable and include (at no additional cost) our monthly continuing education programming as part of membership. Your yearly fee includes access to our newsletter (digital), our monthly continuing education program and the rights to certain PSF marketing materials that can be used in your ongoing marketing effects.

Certification:
PSF’s Certified Professional Speakers have successfully completed a six month coaching program that has been designed to help any speaker, at any level, improve their communication skills and achieve a level of confidence and competence to help them reach all their speaking goals!

As speakers go through the six month process of becoming certified, they are required to:

•  Successfully complete the PSF’s Speech Mastery Course (2 day course)
•  Successfully complete our six month Professional Speaker Training Program which includes

    both one-on-one coaching, and group coaching with a Certified Speech Coach

•  Conduct no less than one presentation per month for six months during the second phase of  

    the Certified Professional Speaker® Training Program and successfully meet each month's 

    course curriculum standards.
